Reiyukai Kyodan is a Japanese Buddhist new religious movement. It belongs to Nichiren Buddhism.[1] It was founded by Kubo Kakutaro in about 1924.[2][3] His successor was his sister-in-law Kotani Kimi (1901–1971).[4] It has supported various politicians on the right wing of the Liberal Democratic Party.[5] Another group is PL Kyodan.
